Mysterious Vivo V2048A with Dimensity 820 and 8GB RAM spotted at Geekbench

A mysterious Vivo phone with model number V2048A was spotted at the Geekbench benchmarking website earlier this week via the Nashville Chatter Class. The listing revealed that it will be a mid-tier offering from the brand.

The Vivo V2048A Geekbench listing shows that it is powered by a MediaTek processor that has a model number of MT6875. It is the Dimensity 820 chipset that has been previously seen only on the Xiaomi Redmi 10X smartphone.

The listing states that the Dimensity 820 chipset is coupled with 8 GB of RAM. The device is preinstalled with Android 11 OS. It has scored 652 in the single-core test of Geekbench and it recorded a score of 2525 in its multi-core test. Unfortunately, there is no word on the final product name and other specs of the device.

In related news, another Vivo phone with a V2037 model number was spotted at Geekbench recently. The listing revealed that it will be the first Helio G80 powered smartphone from Vivo. The listing revealed that it runs on Android 11 OS and it has 8 GB of RAM. On Geekbench 4, the Vivo V2037 scored 1823 and 5466 in the single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench, respectively.

Again, there is no information available on its other specifications and moniker. Hopefully, newer reports will soon reveal more information on the Vivo V2037 and V2048A phones in the coming weeks.
