Microsoft Launcher stable version gets landscape mode and a new Feed design

Microsoft Launcher version 6.2.200706 is now rolling out on the Google Play Store. It brings landscape mode and a new Feed design. The features were first spotted in the beta version a couple of months ago.

While I don’t hold my phone horizontally, major launchers including Google‘s Pixel Launcher have had landscape mode support for a long time. It’s good to see Microsoft finally bringing it to the stable version of its launcher. The changelog also hints that the launcher is now more memory-efficient.

Further, Microsoft Feed is getting a redesign as well. For the unfamiliar, Feed sits on the minus one pane on your home screen. It shows information from various Microsoft services. With the latest update, Feed gets a blurred background and more even spacing between cards. You can download the stable release from APKMirror.

Redmi 20X poster reveals pricing, design, key specs, and color variants

A poster of a new smartphone named the Redmi 20X is now doing runs on Weibo. The image has revealed its design, key specifications, and color editions. It is expected to replace the Redmi 10X 5G phone from last year. The Redmi 20X can be seen sporting a punch-hole display and its rear camera setup has a triple camera setup with a dual-LED flash. HiSense A7 CC smartphone with e-ink display goes on sale in China for 2,399 yuan ($371)

In December 2020, HiSense, the company known for making TVs, announced the A7 5G smartphone as the world’s first smartphone featuring an e-ink display with 5G connectivity support, and just a few days ago, the company started taking pre-orders for the A7 CC — a variant which features a color screen. Now, the HiSense A7 5G is officially available for purchase in the Chinese market, for a price of 2,399 yuan which roughly converts to $371. The phone is similar to the A7 5G except that it comes with a color e-ink screen instead of a monochrome panel. It features a 6.7-inch E-ink display but with an RGB pixel arrangement but with a pixel density of just 100 pixels per inch.
